Zusammenfassung
Der Beitrag beschreibt ausgewählte Daten aus einer repräsentativen Studie zur Mediennutzung von Geflüchteten vor, während und nach ihrer Flucht aus Syrien, Irak oder Zentralasien nach Deutschland 2015/16. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass digitale Medien eine wichtige Rolle für die Kommunikation mit Vorausgegangenen während und mit Zurückgebliebenen nach der Flucht spielen. Es werden aber auch Unterschiede im Hinblick auf Medienkompetenzen entlang der Herkunftsländer der Geflüchteten deutlich.
