Zusammenfassung
Der Mitläufereffekt (Bandwagon Effect) respektive das Herdenverhalten (Herding) kann häufig bei fortgeschrittenen Trends und Hypes beobachtet werden. Je mehr Personen bereits mitmachen, umso mehr weitere Personen nehmen hastig auch noch teil, nur um nichts zu verpassen und dazuzugehören. Dies zeigt sich regelmäßig bei Aktienblasen, wenn man in der Spätphase kurz vor dem Platzen der Blase von Hausfrauen, vom Friseur oder sonstigen im Normalfall nicht sonderlich börsenaffinen Personen angeblich heiße Aktientipps bekommt.
