Zusammenfassung
Im vorstehenden Kapitel wurde ein kritischer Überblick über die wesentlichen Führungstheorien und -konzepte gegeben und dargelegt, welche Elemente Anknüpfungspunkte für das Theoriemodell der Komplementären Führung bilden. Diese Theorie soll Strukturelemente beschreiben, derer es bedarf, um Personalführung in der Praxis – über normative Vorgaben bzw. Empfehlungen – systematisch zu prägen und flächendeckend wirksam zu gestalten. Das in Abschn. 2.3.1.1 vorgestellte Prozessdiagramm wurde dabei als Bezugsrahmen für die Kapitelgliederung verwendet, was möglich ist, da fast alle Theorieansätze sich auf einen oder einige wenige Führungsaspekte konzentrieren. Zu unterscheiden sind eigenschaftsorientierte, einstellungsorientierte, aufgabenorientierte, modalitätsorientierte, beziehungsorientierte, kulturorientierte, systemorientierte, entscheidungsorientierte, situationsorientierte, kontextorientierte, wirkungsorientierte und ergebnisorientierte Theorieansätze der Führung. Allerdings bleibt die Zuordnung mitunter willkürlich, denn weder lassen sich die einzelnen Prozessaspekte theoretisch perfekt voneinander abgrenzen, noch sind sämtliche Theorien eindeutig zuzuordnen. Dennoch trägt die Gliederung zum systematischen Verständnis bei und erleichtert den Überblick.
