Zusammenfassung
Viele Unternehmen führen eine Vielzahl von Marken. Zum Teil agieren dabei mehrere eigene Marken im gleichen Produktbereich. Solche Multi-Marken-Systeme sind in der Praxis weit verbreitet. Für Unternehmen wie Henkel oder Procter & Gamble ist es ein wichtiger Erfolgsfaktor, gleichzeitig mit mehrere Marken in einem Produktbereich im Markt aktiv zu sein. Dies birgt große Chancen, die gerade auch im Rahmen des Corporate Branding genutzt werden können. Dennoch bestehen auch Grenzen dieser strategischen Ausrichtung. Die Potenziale und Restriktionen von Multi-Marken-Systemen werden im folgenden Kapitel analysiert. Weiter werden Ausgestaltungsoptionen für den Einsatz solcher Systeme im Rahmen des Corporate Branding abgeleitet. Zudem wird eine Vorgehensweise aufgezeigt, mit der Multi-Marken-Systeme analysiert und Empfehlungen zur zukünftigen Gestaltung abgeleitet werden können.
