Zusammenfassung
Die bisherigen Ausführungen haben gezeigt, dass die Theorie der disruptiven Innovation von Christensen in unserer Sichtweise insbesondere disruptive Nutzeninnovationen in den Mittelpunkt stellt. Diese Fokussierung schließt nicht aus, dass diese Nutzeninnovationen auch Auswirkungen auf das (operative) Geschäftsmodell, d. h. in unserem Verständnis auf den erweiterten Geschäftsmodellkern eines Unternehmens, hat. In der Konsequenz bedeutet dies jedoch, dass die Vorgehensweise nach Christensen einem klassischen Innovationsverständnis folgt, bei dem zwei eindimensionale Innovationen nacheinander und schrittweise durchgeführt werden.
