Die Darstellung von Widerstand gegen das NS-Regime im zeitgenössischen Amateurtheater

Zusammenfassung

Das Medium Theater kann einen affektiven Zugang zur Thematik Nationalsozialismus ermöglichen. Dieser Beitrag will am Beispiel der theatralen Lesung des Weiße-Rose-Gedenkkonzerts aufzeigen, wie die Darstellung von Widerstand gegen das NS-Regime im zeitgenössischen Amateurtheater umgesetzt werden kann. Das Gedenkkonzert mit theatraler Lesung wurde im Februar 2017 im Lichthof der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) erstmals aufgeführt und sollte an den 74. Todestag der Geschwister Scholl sowie von Christoph Probst erinnern. Genannte Lesung wurde von Thomas Ritter, Lehrbeauftragtem für Darstellendes Spiel am Lehrstuhl für Didaktik der Deutschen Sprache und Literatur an der LMU München, zusammen mit Teilnehmenden des Proseminars „Theater unterrichten“ erarbeitet. Im vorliegenden Beitrag werden drei Szenen dieses Gedenkkonzerts exemplarisch vorgestellt. Festzuhalten ist, dass es sich bei dem Amateurtheaterprojekt um ein ortsspezifisches Theaterprojekt handelt. Es fußt auf authentischem Quellenmaterial und wurde zusammen mit den Studierenden erarbeitet. Vom rollenzentrierten dramatischen Theater nimmt es ebenso Abstand wie von einer reinen Fokussierung auf den bloßen Sprechtext. Text, Bewegung und Musik sind eng miteinander verwoben.

Abstract

The medium of theatre can open up an affective access to National Socialism. This article will use the theatric reading of the White Rose Memorial Concert as an example of how resistance against the Nazi regime can be portrayed in contemporary amateur theatre. The White Rose Memorial Concert was first performed in the main hall of the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) in February 2017 in commemoration of the 74th anniversary of the deaths of the Scholl siblings and Christoph Probst. The reading was developed by Thomas Ritter, who is a lecturer for acting at the department of didactics of German language and literature and German as a second language at the LMU, and participants of his course “Teaching theatre”. Three scenes from the concert will be presented in this article. It should be noted that this amateur theatre project was a site-specific theatre project. It is based on authentic source material and was developed together with the students. It distances itself from character-driven, dramatic theatre as well as from a focus on the spoken text alone. Text, movement and music are closely intertwined.
