Zusammenfassung
Insoweit der cultural turn (Alexander/Smith 2003; Jacobs/Spillman 2005) in der Soziologie Fragen von Bedeutung, Gefühlen und (geteilter) Erfahrung in den Blick genommen hat, hat er die Soziologie auch zurück zu einem Fokus auf Handeln und den Nexus zwischen Kultur und Handeln geführt. Im vorliegenden Beitrag vertrete ich die These, dass diese Perspektivierung mit Entwicklungen in der Kunst- und besonders der Musiksoziologie korrespondiert und durch sie erweitert wird, insbesondere den Arbeiten in diesen Forschungsgebieten, die den Fokus auf die Kultur › in Aktion ‹ legen (Acord/DeNora 2003; Witkin/DeNora 1997).
