Zusammenfassung
Unter Akkulturation versteht man allgemein den Prozess der Übernahme von Elementen einer bis dahin fremden Kultur durch Einzelpersonen, Gruppen oder ganze Gesellschaften. Diese Übernahme betrifft Wissen und Werte, Normen und Institutionen, Fertigkeiten, Techniken und Gewohnheiten, Identifikationen und Überzeugungen, Handlungsbereitschaften und tatsächliches Verhalten, insbesondere aber auch die Sprache.
