Zusammenfassung
Was bedeutet die (zunehmend auch kostentechnische) Verfügbarkeit neuer Technologien (wie z.B. 3D-Druck, Smart Robotics und Advanced Analytics) rund um die Digitalisierung der Wertschöpfungskette für die Automobilindustrie? Die steht – gerade in einem Hochlohnland wie Deutschland – traditionell unter einen erheblichen Kosten- und Innovationsdruck. So hat die Automobilbranche gezwungenermaßen bereits in der Vergangenheit schon oftmals eine Vorreiterrolle übernehmen müssen, wenn es um die Erhöhung ihrer Wettbewerbsfähigkeit geht. Das wohl bekannteste Beispiel ist Taiichi Ohno, der mit dem Toyota Produktionssystem vor mehr 60 Jahren als Pionier entscheidende Wettbewerbsvorteile geschaffen und letztendlich eine ganze Industrie revolutioniert hat.
