Zusammenfassung
In einer Welt, die durch ständigen Wandel gekennzeichnet ist, wird Vertrauen immer mehr zur Notwendigkeit. Denn Vertrauen schafft den Raum, den moderne Organisationsformen, die auf Selbstorganisation setzen, so dringend benötigen. Vertrauen speist den Mut Entscheidungen zu delegieren, Selbstverantwortung zu übernehmen und proaktiv den Wandel im Unternehmen zu gestalten. Vertrauen wirkt auch als Kitt in Teams, die sich zusehends häufiger neu zusammensetzen und mehr Heterogenität zum Wettbewerbsvorteil umsetzen müssen. Schliesslich stärkt Vertrauen die menschliche Resilienz und schafft somit Ressourcen, um mit der hohen Belastung, im neuen, anspruchsvollen Umfeld umzugehen.
In diesem Aufsatz beleuchten wir, wie Vertrauen entsteht und wie Akteure Vertrauen bewusst „anstossen“ können. Wir erweitern bisherige Vertrauensmodelle indem wir zeigen, dass Vertrauen mehr ist, als sich auf ‚gute Gründe’ zu verlassen, die aus einer Kosten-Nutzenabwägung abgeleitet werden. Wir skizzieren an einem Fallbeispiel, wie Vertrauen als Bauch- und Herzentscheidung zum ‚Leap of Faith‘ wird und wie Kulturarbeit, organisationale Regeln und Heuristiken diesen Vertrauenssprung ermöglichen.
