Das hier in Rede stehende Buch (Wehner & Gentile 2012) fasste die Befunde zum Corporate Volunteering (CV), einer seit der Jahrtausendwende aktiven Forschungsgruppe an der ETH Zürich, zusammen. Die Zürcher Gruppe hat in Ergänzung zur CV-Forschung ebenfalls umfassende Befunde zum individuellen Volunteering (IV) publiziert (Wehner & Güntert 2015). In dem CV-Buch wurde, an Hand der Befunde zur Theorie und Praxis in der Schweiz, die These vertreten: Die Praxis – auf der Suche nach ihrer Praxis.
