Zusammenfassung
Der Begriff „Headhunter“ heißt ursprünglich „Kopfjäger“ und verweist auf die blutige Tradition der Kopfjagden, die so alt ist wie die Menschheit selbst und die bis heute von einigen Naturvölkern betrieben wird. In deren Logik können Krieger, die einen Kopf erbeuten, auf eine magische Wirkung ihrer Trophäe hoffen. Der Kopf erschreckt Gegner und steigert das eigene Ansehen.
