Zusammenfassung
Dieses Kapitel wird die beiden theoretischen Stränge der Arbeit, die grundlegende Wahlkampfstrategie des Negative Campaigning, mit den Annahmen des Prinzipal-Agent-Ansatzes zusammenführen. Ziel ist es, auf Basis letzterer ein kontext-sensitives Modell der rationalen Kampagnenführung zu entwickeln, das eine große Forschungslücke schließt: eine Erklärung dafür zu finden, welche Parteien in welcher Wahlsituation Negative Campaigning einsetzen und welche Formen von Attacken zu erwarten sind.
