Zusammenfassung
Bei Fallstudien handelt es sich um ein vielfältiges Untersuchungsdesign, das in unterschiedlichsten Disziplinen Anwendung findet. Die Notwendigkeit einer Fallstudie entsteht dann, wenn das Forschungsziel die Erschließung eines individuellen komplexen Sachverhaltes ist, der mit Hilfe anderer Untersuchungsdesigns kaum erschlossen werden kann.
