Zusammenfassung
Emotionen haben im Alltag des Menschen einen deutlich höheren Stellenwert als oftmals vermutet wird. Von Natur aus neigt der Mensch dazu, von Emotionen gesteuert, irrational zu handeln. Emotionen dienen überdies dazu, Erlebnisse des Menschen im Gedächtnis abzuspeichern, sodass in neuen Situationen durch Kognition auf das vorhandene Wissen zurückgegriffen werden kann.
