Zusammenfassung
Dieser Artikel präsentiert eine Übersicht der relevantesten Konzeptionen von Performativität in Bezug auf Genrefilm und in Hinsicht auf die in diesen Fällen typischen Aktualisierungen von narrativen und ikonografischen Konventionen. Dabei werden sowohl verschiedene Definitionen von Performativität gegenübergestellt, als auch in der Anwendung auf Filmbeispiele konkretisiert. Zentrale Ausgangspunkte sind dabei J.L. Austins Sprechakttheorie, deren Nuanciertheit von nachfolgenden Theoretiker/innen teils nicht ausreichend nachvollzogen wurde, sowie Erika Fischer-Lichtes und Sybille Krämers Ausarbeitungen zu der Möglichkeit, verschiedene Performativitätskonzeptionen zu integrieren. Durch die Auseinandersetzung mit Genrefilmen wird deutlich, dass existierende Performativitätstheorien einige potenziell problematische Engführungen aufweisen, wenn sie auf die medial ermöglichte Erfahrung des Genrefilms angewendet werden.
