Zusammenfassung
Ein Ereignis wird zur Nachricht, wenn es einen Nachrichtenwert hat. Der Nachrichtenwert, die Aktualität, wird bestimmt vom Neuigkeitswert und vom Informationswert. Beim Informationswert lassen sich drei Werte unterscheiden: Wissen und Orientierung, direkter Nutzen und Stoff für Gespräche und Unterhaltung.
