Zusammenfassung
Der einleitend skizzierte Anlass für die hier untersuchte Forschungsfrage nach der subjektiven Bedeutung von Partizipation für (als benachteiligt etikettierte) Jugendliche in der Jugendarbeit ist in den Zuschreibungsprozessen begründet, die Heranwachsenden ein abnehmendes Interesse an gesellschaftlicher und politischer Einmischung bzw. die Nicht-Partizipation unterstellen. Die Frage nach der Partizipation benachteiligter Jugendlicher in der doppelten Bedeutung des Wortes Partizipation – des Teilhabens im Sinne eines Zuganges zu gesellschaftlich relevanten Ressourcen und der Teilnahme im Sinne aktiver Beteiligung – berührt unterschiedliche theoretische Diskurse.
