Zusammenfassung
In Folge der Finanzkrise muss das Selbstverständnis und die Kommunikation der Finanzbranche grundsätzlich neu aufgestellt werden. Ohne gesellschaftliche Akzeptanz und politisches Verständnis für wirtschaftliches und finanzwirtschaftliches Handeln und ohne Eingehen auf die Regeln der modernen Mediengesellschaft droht die Basis des Geschäfts der Branche zu erodieren. Die Schlussfolgerungen, die für die Unternehmen und deren Verbandskommunikation daraus zu ziehen sind, werden im nachfolgenden Beitrag beschrieben.
