Zusammenfassung
Eine der größten globalen Herausforderungen, vor der die Menschheit derzeit steht, ist der Klimawandel. Da Unternehmen einen entscheidenden Anteil am Ausstoß von klimaschädlichen Gasen wie CO2 haben, fällt ihnen hier auch eine besondere Verantwortung zu und Nachhaltigkeit ist für viele längst integraler Bestandteil der Unternehmensstrategie. Unter dem Begriff „sustainability“ subsumieren sich Ressourcen‐ und Energieeffizienz, Wertstoffkreisläufe sowie ökonomische und soziale Aspekte. Der Anspruch einer „Green Logistic“ ist im Supply Chain Management der DRÄXLMAIER Group seit 2009 ein zentrales Thema, das Jahr für Jahr an Bedeutung gewonnen hat und heute sehr erfolgreich praktiziert wird.
