Zusammenfaussung

Innovationen sind zentral für organisationales Lernen (s. Kapitel Schilling und Kluge in diesem Band) und organisationalen Wandel. Sie dienen der verbesserten Anpassung der Organisation an ihre Umwelt. In diesem Kapitel werden nach der Erläuterung der Arten und Ziele von Innovationen Charakteristika präzisiert, anhand derer Innovationsaufgaben gekennzeichnet werden können: der Innovationsgrad, die Unsicherheit, die Komplexität und Konflikte zwischen den Innovationsbeteiligten. Ferner wird die Innovationsbereitschaft von Mitarbeitern und Managern aus kognitiver und emotionaler Perspektive beschrieben und aufgezeigt, in welcher Weise die Innovationsbereitschaft zentral ist für das Innovationsverhalten, also Prozesse der Ideengenerierung und Implementierung. In Bezug auf die Implementierung von Innovationen in Organisationen wird die Relevanz von Sachkonflikten und Verteilungskonflikten beschrieben.
