Zusammenfassung
Die dezentrale KEI‐Bestimmung ist in der Praxis einfach zu handhaben, da von Lieferant zu Kunde nur eine einzige zusätzliche Zahl (im betrachteten Beispiel die THGIntensität) in der Wertschöpfungskette weitergereicht werden muss. Die KEI ist damit eine Alternative zu komplexeren Berechnungsmodellen der lieferkettenübergreifenden Umweltwirkungen, wie etwa das Carbon‐Footprint‐Modell von Sundarakani et al. (2010).
