Zusammenfassung
Als sich Samira mit 21 Jahren das erste Mal in eine Frau verliebte, dachte sie nicht daran, lesbisch zu sein, sondern erlebte diese Liebe als eine tiefe Verbindung zu einem besonderen Menschen. Zu dieser Zeit lebte die zierliche Frau als politische Aktivistin im Untergrund in ihrem arabischen Geburtsland. Aus politischen Gründen floh Samira 1985 nach Deutschland und trat schließlich aus ihrer Partei aus, da sie ihre Liebe zu Frauen nicht akzeptierte. Seit 1997 berät die Diplom-Psychologin in einer Beratungsstelle Lesben, Schwule, Bisexuelle und Trans*Menschen (LSBIT), die rassistische, sexistische, homophobe und transdiskriminierende Erfahrungen erlebt haben. Sie forscht ebenfalls zum Thema Gewalt- und Mehrfachdiskriminierungen von lesbischen, bisexuellen Frauen und Trans*Menschen.
