Zusammenfassung
Im Kapitel Marketing und Vertrieb geht es um die Planung, Koordination und das Controlling aller auf die aktuellen und potenziellen Märkte ausgerichteten Unternehmensaktivitäten mit dem Ziel, die Kunden langfristig zu begeistern. Dabei darf Marketing nicht nur als eine Unternehmensfunktion betrachtet werden, sondern als ganzheitliches, d. h. im gesamten Unternehmen praktiziertes Konzept. Marketing ist die integrative Kraft zwischen dem im Mittelpunkt der Unternehmensaktivitäten stehenden Kunden und den einzelnen Unternehmensfunktionen.
