Zusammenfassung
Müller (1998) beschreibt das virtuelle Unternehmen als einen temporären, projektbezogenen Zusammenschluss von Unternehmen. Für die jeweiligen Aufträge und Kundenwünsche werden speziell darauf abgestimmte Teams von Experten zusammengestellt. Die Beziehungen lösen sich nach dem erfolgreichen Abschluss eines Projektes auf. Laut Picot et al. sind virtuelle Unternehmen dynamische Netzwerke, deren Verknüpfung sich flexibel und problembezogen konfiguriert (vgl. Picot et al. 2001, S. 422).
