Zusammenfassung
Eine der wichtigsten Kenngrößen eines Motors ist die Leistung (Arbeit pro Zeit). Die direkte Messung der Leistung am Motor ist nicht möglich. Aus diesem Grund wird diese aus dem gemessenen Drehmoment und der Motordrehzahl ermittelt. Das Drehmoment eines Motors lässt sich am Motorprüfstand mit einer Leistungsbremse direkt messen. Die Leistungsbremse nimmt dabei die vom Motor abgegebene Leistung auf und wandelt sie in Wärmeleistung oder elektrische Leistung um.
