Zusammenfassung
Anlässlich des 60. Geburtstags der Menschenrechte im Jahr 2008 erinnerte die französische Tageszeitung Le Monde daran, dass der Begriff »droites de l‘homme« einer alten und exklusivistischen Denkweise entstammte. Korrekter wäre es heute, von »droites humaines« zu sprechen. Die Anmerkung verweist auf den feindseligen Aspekt, der sich gleichwohl hinter der menschenfreundlichen Gesinnung des Menschenrechtsdenkens verbirgt.
