Zusammenfassung
Das Meta-Geschäftsprozeßmodell der Ebene 3 definiert die Begriffsklassen und Zusammenhänge, aus denen konkrete betriebswirtschaftliche Anwendungsprozesse der Ebenen 2 und 1 modelliert werden können. Da die Konstrukte der Ebene 2 Instanzen der Meta-Ebene sind, können nur solche Konstrukte verwendet werden, für die auf der Meta-Ebene Klassen definiert sind. Die auf der Ebene 2 modellierten Geschäftsprozeßtypen bestimmen wiederum die Struktur der einzelnen konkreten Abläufe der Ebene 1. Deshalb bestimmt letztlich das Meta-Modell die Möglichkeiten der Geschäftsprozeßgestaltung.
