Zusammenfassung
Es dürfte zu den wenigen unstrittigen Tatsachen in der Migräneforschung und -behandlung gehören, daß psychische Probleme für die Entstehung und Aufrechterhaltung des Kopfschmerzes von erheblicher Bedeutung sind. Hinreichend abgesichert scheint auch zu sein, daß der früher vergleichsweise hoch veranschlagte genetische Anteil bei der Migräneentstehung zugunsten eines größeren Einflusses von Umweltfaktoren in Frage zu stellen ist.
