Zusammenfassung
Ein Röntgenkontrastmittel soll in Konsistenz, Löslichkeit und Verteilungseigenschaften dem physiologischen und physiko-chemischen Milieu, in das es hineingelangen soll, ideal angepaßt sein. Es soll eine hohe Kontrastdichte, eine niedrige allgemeine und örtliche Toxicität aufweisen, pharmakodynamisch „leer“ sein und schnell und komplett ausgeschieden werden.
