Abstract
In the previous chapter we considered some magnetic crystals, which possess perfect three-dimensional periodicity. But no less important are systems (dilute magnetic alloys etc.) in which magnetic atoms are dissolved in non-magnetic matrices, or magnetic atoms of one type are embedded in crystals formed by other magnetic atoms. The electronic structure of magnetic impurities is discussed in this chapter.
