Zusammenfassung
Programme heißen adaptierbar (1), wenn sie an vorhandene Hardware, Kapazitätsschranken und installations- oder benutzerbezogene Kenngrössen angepaßt werden können. Das adaptierte Programm soll immer die optimale Effizienz in Speicher- und Rechnerkernausnutzung aufweisen. Zur Übersetzung adaptierbarer Programme werden flexiblere Systeme benötigt als sie mit den heute benutzten Compilern zur Verfügung stehen.
