Abstract
Experimental profiles of Pitot pressure measured across the wake of a hydrogen jet injected into a high enthalpy hypersonic stream were compared to the results of a semi-empirical model. The agreement between the two was good and the effect of confinement on the flow was demonstrated. Analysis demonstrated the sensitivity of the results to the stagnation enthalpy and velocity of the freestream flow.
