Zusammenfassung
Unter der folgenden Hypothese tragen die Modellstudien zur Weiterentwicklung der maschinellen Beatmung bei: Das nichtlineare Zweikompartimentmodell der Lunge eröffnet die Möglichkeit, die maschinelle Beatmung anhand der Modellparameter der beiden Lungenkompartimente einzustellen bzw. hierdurch zu steuern.
