Zusammenfassung

Vor Einführung der Computertomographie (CT) konnte auf eine zerebrale Beteiligung bei Mammakarzinom nur indirekt aus dem Auftreten neurologischer Symptome geschlossen werden [3]. Bildgebende Verfahren wie die Angiographie und die Pneumenzephalographie blieben meist negativ oder gaben lediglich indirekte Hinweise auf eine intrazerebrale Raumforderung. Mit der Computertomographie gelingt der direkte Metastasennachweis, wenn auch das Metastasenbild nicht pathognomonisch für eine sekundäre Tumorabsiedlung ist [4].
