Zusammenfassung

Über das Behandlungskonzept zerebraler Metastasen bei Patientinnen mit Mammakarzinom besteht derzeit noch kein Konsens, obwohl die Strahlentherapie als Standardtherapie angesehen wird. Dies hat mehrere Gründe. Erstens liegen randomisierte Studien über die Wertigkeit der Chemotherapie, Strahlentherapie und Chirurgie nicht vor. Zweitens wurde der Chemotherapie zerebraler Metastasen beim Mammakarzinom erst in jüngster Zeit größere Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt. Und drittens ist die Prognose dieser Patientinnen sehr unterschiedlich, da Gehirnmetastasen früh, aber auch spät im Verlauf der Dissemination auftreten können.
