Abstract

The DEKORP Processing Center (DPC) at the Institute of Geophysics of the Technical University of Clausthal was founded in December 1983 to process deep seismic steep-angle data for the DEKORP research project. In September 1984 the DPC was also given the task of processing the reflection seismic data for the KTB pre-site studies. The DPC was subsequently assigned the planning, coordination and processing of the Oberpfalz 3-D seismic survey in 1989.
