Zusammenfassung
Der Stand der Computergraphik wird besonders eindrucksvoll an den Fortschritten demonstriert, die im Bereich der sogenannten Computeranimation gemacht wurden. In diesem Beitrag wird erklärt, wie komplexe Computeranimationen erstellt werden und welche Soft- und Hardware dafür erforderlich ist. Ferner wird der Einsatz von Computeranimation bei der Visualisierung komplexer Daten und Prozesse angesprochen, einem hochaktuellen Einsatzgebiet von Computergraphik.
