Abstract
I thank, without exception, all members of the national and international professional organizations and divisions for the numerous, useful discussions with which they helped to create the image of the safety technology available to control the dangers of dust explosions. This is especially true for Mr. C. Donat (Farbwerke Hoechst AG), who retired in the meantime.
