Abstract

This chapter deals with experimental methods that are useful in probing ET mechanisms. As we delve into this subject it is important to delineate what mechanistic goal we can realistically aim for and, particularly, what kind of description we can expect to accomplish by experimental tests. Chapter II provides a suitable starting point for this discussion.
