Zusammenfassung
Histamin spielt eine zentrale Rolle als Mediator der Säuresekretion am Magen und — v. a. in der Frühphase — der allergischen und anaphylaktoiden Reaktion. Die Säuresekretion wird durch spezifische Histaminrezeptoren (H2-Rezeptoren) an der Belegzelle gesteuert. Derselbe Rezeptortyp vermittelt wesentliche kardiovaskuläre Reaktionen im Ablauf der anaphylaktischen und anaphylaktoiden Reaktion wie Tachykardie, Hypotension und Rhythmusstörungen. Spezifische Histamin-H2-Rezeptorantagonisten können diese Effekte konzentrationsabhängig blockieren.
