Zusammenfassung
Durch die Fortschritte auf dem Gebiet der Intensivmedizin haben sich die Überlebenschancen für Kinder mit niedrigem Geburtsgewicht deutlich verbessert [1,3,12]. Gleichzeitig ist jedoch ein neues Problem aufgetreten: Bei den überlebenden, extrem unreifen Frühgeborenen entwickelt sich sehr häufig in den ersten Lebenstagen eine intrazerebrale Blutung unterschiedlichster Auspragung. Die bisherigen Verlaufsbeobachtungen zur Früh- und Spätprognose dieser Kinder reichen für eine abschließende prognostische Beurteilung noch nicht aus [7, 8,10,13,16]. Wir fühlen uns daher berechtigt, unsere Erfahrungen bei extrem unreifen Frühgeborenen mit zerebraler Blutung mitzuteilen.
