Abstract
During an investigation into the influences of non-visual factors on the rabbit’s cortical response to flashes (Bobbert et al. 1977), it was observed that this Visually Evoked Potential (V.E.P.) shows marked circadian changes. Because in mammals the visual pathway functions as the input channel for the main Zeitgeber, it was considered worth while studying the phenomenon in detail.
