Das Programmsystem COPE (computer performance evaluator) ist ein Instrumentarium zur leistungsgerechten Konfigurierung und Dimensionierung von Rechensystemen aus existenten bzw. projektierten Hardware- oder Software-Komponenten.

Forschungsvorhaben „Methodik der Planung von Rechensystemen“, FKZ: 018 2243, Förderer: BMFT und Siemens AG. Das Vorhaben wird an der Universität Dortmund, Abteilung Informatik, Lehrstuhl IV, Prof. Dr.-Ing. H. Beilner, durchgeführt.
