Abstract
The measurement of extradural pressure (EDP) using a metal device, with laterally facing holes, connected to an external pressure transducer has previously been reported (1,2) and certain limitations discussed. The previous survey showed a good correlation between measured EDP and intraventricular pressure (IVP) with a tendency for the former to read higher than the latter, especially at high values of IVP.
