Part of the book series: Ecological Studies ((ECOLSTUD,volume 146))

Abstract

East and southeast Africa are here considered as the territories covered by the flora of tropical East Africa and the Flora Zambesiaca (i. e., Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe). Inselbergs of the Imatong Mountains (southern Sudan), eastern Congo, Rwanda, and Somalia are additionally included because of their floristic affinity.
