Abstract
The main purpose of various theories of continuous media is to find fields of interest either as functions of time and material points X belonging to the body B0 (Lagrangian description) or as functions of time and positions x belonging to the current configuration Bt (Eulerian description). These fields are supposed to be solutions of field equations, which must be specified for a chosen class of materials.
