Die chemische Beständigkeit eines Glases ist primär abhängig von der Zusammensetzung, von der Art der chemischen Bindung und nicht zuletzt von der Mikrostruktur der Gläser. Die Bedeutung dieses letzteren Abhängigkeitsfalles soll hier durch ein Musterbeispiel erläutert werden.
