Fehlerhafte Erscheinungen während einer laufenden Glasproduktion führen zu mehr oder weniger schweren finanziellen Verlusten. Mitunter nimmt man sie in Kauf, weil sie zwar das ästhetische Aussehen eines Glasproduktes beeinflussen, nicht aber dessen technische Funktionstüchtigkeit. H. Jebsen-Marwedel [1 und 2] hat Glasfehler aufgezeigt, die, bewußt erzeugt, auch als Dekor bei der Herstellung von Kunstglas wirken.
