Der aktuelle Stand und die zu erwartenden Weiterentwicklungen des E-Business werden dargestellt. Eine Einordnung in die wissenschaftlichen und die industriellen Revolutionen erfolgt. Die Unterschiede zur traditionellen Geschäftstätigkeit werden herausgearbeitet. Prognosen über das zukünftige E-Business werden erstellt.
